Our headquarters is located in East Windsor NJ supporting all of the Americas (Canada, USA, Mexico, Central and South America). Due to continued success and growth, COPA-DATA USA Corp. is looking to recruit additional personnel to join our team based in East Windsor, New Jersey, USA.
As the Head of Sales, you’ll be embedded in the COPA-DATA USA Team, reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with both the US and International Teams of COPA-DATA in our offices in East Windsor, NJ USA. Oversee current sales activities and approach, also assist in growing sales team and locations in the USA.
Job duties:
- Developing and growing the sales team to increase market share
- Proactively coach sales team to increase lead generation.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key accounts.
- Need to contribute accurate reports for forecasts, sales, and industries.
- Hiring and mentoring of new sales staff.
- Develop the entire sales process and make improvements as necessary for identifying prospects, cold calling, client visits and presentations/demonstrations and how to win and close deals.
- Create and maintain a dynamic sales plan with clear and actionable targets for members of the sales teams
- Participate in the COPA-DATA management activities for area strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to inspire the team
- Travel in our territory to customer meetings, trade shows and from time to time to Europe.
Essential requirements:
To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
- At least 5+ years experience in leadership and development of sales teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
- Ability to persuade and influence others, ability to develop and deliver presentations, ability to create, compose and edit written materials
- Experience in B2B selling with long sales cycles through relationship building and management
- Work requires willingness to work flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel
