    What is your focus at COPA-DATA zenon Product Engineering?

    In zenon Product Engineering we combine product management, software development and quality assurance. We base our work on data from market and industry observations. In addition, we develop new functions, fix bugs and ensure the functionality of the software platform. And of course we maintain and update zenon. 

    Which team does what and what are their main tasks?

    • Product management: Market observation and needs analysis, defining and prioritizing product requirements, maintaining the product backlog and acting as interface between stakeholders and the development team. 
    • Development: Implementation of technical solutions, writing high-quality, maintainable code, developing application software for Windows and Linux in C++, C#, TypeScript, surface technologies (DirectX, WPF, Angular) and tools (Visual Studio, gcc, GIT, Azure DevOps). 
    • Software testing: Ensuring the quality and integrity of the product by running automated and manual tests and identifying and resolving errors, using tools such as Azure DevOps Server, Anurex and Selenium. 

    Which special skills/soft skills should I bring to the table?

    The main thing is your desire to create real added value for our customers. Passion for software solutions, coding or testing is as important as a hunger for new technologies and knowledge. You need to be detail-oriented, willing to learn, organized and proactive. A certain degree of nerdiness is perfect, because it shows you want to deepen your knowledge and gain expertise in a specific area.

      What is your focus at COPA-DATA Internal Services? 

      First and foremost, we manage everything around infrastructure, working environment and staff. We ensure perfect conditions for developing zenon further, while ensuring compliance with legal frameworks, labor law and finance. We help within the company where required and create and manage processes to facilitate collaboration.

      Who does what?

      • Front desk, facility management & fleet management: reception, travel planning and hotel bookings, support of internal events, purchasing, facility management and fleet management.
      • Licensing: creation, dispatch and management of all zenon software licenses, globally.
      • Finance: accounting, billing and control.
      • IT: Provision and maintenance of internal systems, software and hardware.
      • HR: administration, learning & development, apprenticeship training, recruiting, relationship management with educational institutions and employer branding.
      • Legal: Labor law and corporate law.
      • Quality Management: Establishing, maintaining and continuously improving our quality management system, organizing and implementing internal and external quality audits as well as continuously improving our processes.

        What is your focus at COPA-DATA Business Development?

        Our focus is on sustainable business development in our target markets, in industries and with strategic key accounts. We are always close to the action, and we communicate requirements to the company, driving product development. We organize new market entries, manage our global partner program and support our sales and subsidiaries in the local markets. Our motto: We help where we can. Worldwide. 

        Which team does what and what are their main tasks?

        • Key Account Management: Maintain and expand international business relations. Proactively develop key customers’ strategic planning and implementation of individual solutions. Analyze market and customer requirements to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and sales growth. 
        • Business Development: Support distribution companies, partners and international sales representatives in implementing their company strategy. Establish new subsidiaries and partnerships. Maintain close relationships with the end customer in order to implement zenon optimally. 
        • Industry Management: Provide industry terms and knowledge within COPA-DATA. Support sales acquisitions using domain knowledge. Communicate customer needs and collaborate on new functions with Development. Show added value for customers in core industries through specific solutions and optimal positioning of our technology.

          • Communication & Brand: We build and develop our brand and image, do public relations, communicate via social media, develop and implement our global communication strategy and coordinate and position all things brand-related. 
          • Global Growth & Industry Marketing: We develop industry-specific marketing strategies, integrate global perspectives with local implementation, improve the brand experience, create value for target customers and find and exploit growth potential. 
          • Global Marketing Services: This is where corporate identity meets customer experience. We provide expertise and services in graphic design and event management, and we support and execute coordinated marketing services for various target groups. 
          • Digital Tools & Touchpoints: We carry out all digital marketing activities: we analyze, design and develop digital customer touchpoints, we enable eCommerce and we tune the roadmap of our digital infrastructure, all to ensure a seamless customer experience.

            What is your focus at COPA-DATA Customer Services?

            We provide technical customer support, including user documentation, training, e-learning and project & technical support. We help customers to use zenon correctly and efficiently to help them achieve their specific goals. We organize onboarding for new customers swiftly and keep response times to customer queries low thanks to our knowledge and familiarity with all processes, while we collaborate with no red tape.

            Which team does what and what are their main tasks?

            • Technical editing and translation: creating user documentation and manuals for zenon in various languages.
            • Training & e-learning: Organizing individual classroom-based training and creating online training courses in the zenon Academy.
            • Project support: An essential part of direct support, including:
              • Carrying out pilot projects together with customers
              • Creating templates and providing support for new customers
              • Designing user-friendly graphical interfaces
            • Custom development: providing customer-specific software solutions, add-ons and extensions for zenon. We code in C#, Angular and .net.
            • Technical customer support: support, troubleshooting, error analysis and start-up assistance for new customers.
            • Project management: Providing an overview of the project  along with structures that help the rest of the team complete their tasks on time.

            Which special skills/soft skills should I bring to the table?
