Operation: User-Defined and Context-Sensitive

The machine operator requires different information to the production manager. And the production manager has completely different requirements to the operations manager when it comes to the level of detail needed to monitor KPIs. The CEO, on the other hand, wants to have an immediate overview of all locations. Satisfying all of these requests can seem to be a huge challenge – especially when the tasks and requirements are constantly changing.

  • Faster response times
  • Positive development of performance and availability
  • Focused and situation-based provision of key information

Data can be filtered and displayed in accordance with user requirements. Information can also be tailored to the context and situation at hand so that only the necessary information is displayed.

Only provide the information that the user really needs

In zenon, you can precisely specify who receives which information and how. Depending on the role of the user, screens can be customized, personal filters defined in event lists, or different KPIs displayed, for example. Each operator can also individually adapt the views they see to gain a better overview.

zenon makes it possible to adapt information to a specific situation based on the context. This increases the ability to respond, for example in the event of an alarm, when requirements change temporarily and have to be dealt with quickly.

Adapt information to the user and the situation

Information based on the production data can be processed in zenon so that users only see the data that they actually need. For example, in a zenon Worldview, it is possible to zoom in from the entire plant to the individual parts of a machine. Depending on the zoom level, data is displayed with a different granularity. This allows critical alarms to be seen and located promptly. In the overview screen, flashing can signal where the alarm is occurring, for example. The operator zooms into the area concerned and immediately receives detailed information about the alarm and can therefore respond quickly and expertly to the unexpected events.

When it comes to reporting and trends, there are a whole host of options for the customized filtering and presentation of data. Depending on which information the user currently needs, the screen displays a different level of detail or presents the data with a different focus. Reports can also be created and sent automatically.
